Rare Irish Inlaid Killarneyware Arbutus Wood Desk Book Holder, mid to late Nineteenth Century, of outstanding quality and condition.
Each hinged folding bookends, superbly inlaid with an Irish Castle ruin flanked by Shamrocks depicting an ancient view of Muckross Abbey, the other a view of Blarney Castle ruin, both flanked by three leaf Shamrocks.
Condition: Good untouched condition with no losses, nice surface patination, original firm fitting hinges.
